Smile Care Claims was born out of necessity. After the pandemic, the dental labor market collapsed. Practices couldn’t find qualified staff—and when they could, wages had skyrocketed. Office managers were stretched thin, and great team members were stuck chasing insurance companies instead of helping grow the practice.

As the leadership team behind MGE: Management Experts, we saw this firsthand across hundreds of practices.

Our Story

The idea that started it all:

We told our clients to outsource their billing. But what came back was chaos.

Vendors were missing payments, botching claims, leaving A/R untouched—and worse, some didn’t understand dentistry. Our clients were frustrated. Their money was stuck. Their staff was overwhelmed. And their practices weren’t growing.

So a dedicated team of MGE executives took the time to build the solution ourselves.

Who we are:

Smile Care Claims was founded by Sabri Blumberg, along with senior members of the MGE Executive Council—including Amy Menkhaus, Chris Menkhaus, Ashley Fuegel, Adam Fuegel, and MGE clients Dr. Arvind Philomin and Dr. Divya Adusumilli.

Our Director of Operations, Sandy Samarco, is a fully MGE-trained office manager who previously ran a $4M+ private practice—bringing deep operational expertise and day-to-day leadership to the team.

Rounding out the team is a growing group of dedicated account managers with a combined 100 years of hands-on dental experience—all trained, accountable, and ready to fight for your collections like it’s their own money on the line.

While Smile Care Claims is an independent company, it’s powered by the same philosophy, leadership, and results-driven mindset that built MGE into the most trusted name in dental consulting.
